Promotes an Islamic ethical framework that creates a compass for Muslim professionals to navigate the moral and ethical complexities of their respective fields. These trained Muslim professionals will transform their approach to framing and solving the critical issues needed to positively impact the quality of their professional communities. As Muslim professionals apply an authentic, structured Islamic ethical framework, they will distribute knowledge derived from the Prophethood of Muḥammad ﷺ; an inheritance of knowledge that provides the most comprehensive and beneficial solutions to humans universally.
It is vital for Muslims to take seriously what Shaykh Amin refers to as the “academic imperative.” Shaykh Amin envisions the MARS initiative to be a vehicle by which the transfer of beneficial knowledge and the cultivation of academic rigor can take place in a manner which finds its roots in the premodern madrasa system. In this pursuit for more knowledge, students in the MARS initiative will find themselves better-situated to meet the needs of this place and time. Courses are offered across 4 times zones, removing barriers to accessibility for a global audience that is in genuine need of the guidance, beneficial knowledge, and experience offered by faculty at DQC.
This program is designed to tackle the intellectual issues of today, how does the modern Muslim discern between false and true narratives of our deen today? Courses will cover these issues while clarifying the principles of Islam in an engaging way. The program is ideal for high school students, young professional, or college students.
The Sunday Tafsīr class is Shaykh Amin’s and Darul Qasim’s communal offering. It is an unwavering commitment and service to all seekers of knowledge. For over 22 years, Shaykh Amin has been teaching Tafsīr with inspiring consistency to thousands. Rain or shine, you will find individuals from all over the world and all walks of life gathered at the feet of this great scholar. There is no prerequisite for entering this space and listening to the Shaykh. All are united in their thirst for learning.
Al-Qasim Live is a national online repository of talks, discussions and presentations conducted by Darul Qasim College faculty. Talks will be on various topics ranging from theology and spirituality to Islamic history and how to receive and process current events.
The civilizational code of Islamic learning has always begun with the recitation of the Qurʾān then pursuing knowledge of various Islamic sciences thereafter; all with the enthusiasm to become closer to Allah through reciting the Qurʾān then understanding it. This is at the core of the Darul Qasim Qurʾān program. Whether online or onsite, students can expect consistency and success across the board.
