  • Completed Hifz al-Qur’an at the Institute of Islamic Education.
  • Studied at St. Louis University, St. Louis MO, selected as a student in the Medical Scholars Program.
    • Psychology and pre-health sciences.
  • Completed undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago in psychology and pre-health sciences.
  • Worked as an educator at a middle school and high school in Milwaukee, WI.
  • Taught tajwid and hifz as part of Sacred Learning’s Quran program.
  • Began study of sacred sciences at DarusSalam Foundation, Lombard IL 
    • Ijāzah in Tajweed & Qira’ah of Hafs ʿan ʿAṣim from Mawlana Ahteramul Haque.
    • 2 years of coursework in the Alimiyyah program: Arabic grammar, morphology, literature, Islamic law, theology, Quranic translation, Urdu language.
  • Transferred and continued studies at Darul Qasim’s Intermediate & Advanced program.
    • Arabic grammar, rhetoric, literature, Islamic law, legal theory, logic, discursive theology, Quranic sciences, exegesis, hadith sciences, hadith.
    • Studied hadith and received ijāzāt from Darul Qasim hadith lecturers: 
      • Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhāri from Shaykh Amin Kholwadia, 
      • Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Sunan al-Tirmidhī, Sunan al-Nasāʾī, and Sunan Ibn Mājah from Mawlana AbdurRahman Hājī,
      • al-Muwaṭṭā of Imām Mālik and of Imām Muhammad al-Shaybānī from Mufti Ehzaz Ajmeri, 
      • Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Sharḥ Maʿānī al-Āthār, and Sunan al-Tirmidhī from Mawlana Bilal Ali, 
      • Sunan Abī Dāwūd from Mufti Hisham Dawud.
    • Read and received ijāzah in al-Shamāʾil al-Muḥammadiyyah of Imām al-Tirmidhī from Shaykh Zakariyya b. Ahmad al-Ṭālib al-Makkī
    • Has ijāzāt in musalsalāt and other hadith collections from other scholars.
    • Studied Hujjatullah al-Balighah over 2 years with Shaykh Amin, and is currently continuing its study.
  • After completing hadīth studies, matriculated into the Takhaṣṣuṣ fī al-Tafsīr program, specializing in tafsīr under Shaykh Amin Kholwadia, Mawlana Kamil Uddin, and Shaykh Issam Eido.
    • Currently working on its thesis under the supervision of Mawlana Kamil Uddin. 
  • Currently as faculty at DQC: 
    • lecturer, teaching courses in Islamic law, Quranic exegesis, and Arabic.
