Description:

New Atheists argue that evolution and atheism go hand-in-hand, that belief in God is like belief in Russell’s teapots, and that disbelief in evolution is like belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Hamza Karamali will introduce these new atheist arguments and show how they are valid (and, in fact, strong) arguments against Christian theism, but how they are completely inapplicable to the Islamic theism of the traditional scholars of kalām .
