Reflection delivered on August 22nd, 2018
In his Eid address, Shaykh Amin impresses upon us the concept of sa’ee – struggle, accountability and responsibility – which was demonstrated immaculately by the family of Ibrahim through the actions of Hajar, Ibrahim and Ismail (AS). We see their sa’ee as a blueprint for how we protect our children, cultivate our families and sacrifice for God – all of which contributes towards the make-up of a successful human civilization.
