Mawlana Shaheer Pathan began his religious education in 2008 at the Academy of Sautul Furqan, Teaneck, New Jersey. After completing the taḥfīẓ program, he enrolled at the Institute of Islamic Education, Elgin, Illinois, between the years 2012-2016. Since then, he has been at Darul Qasim: first as a student, then as a student-teacher, and now, as a teacher. He currently serves in the department of Ifta under the senior Muftis of Darul Qasim.
