Darul Qasim College Launches Quranic Sciences & Theology Course for Baitul Hikmah Academy High School Students

Beginning this December, Darul Qasim College will offer an Intro to Quranic Sciences and Theology course to high school students at Baitul Hikmah Academy in Minnesota. This initiative marks a meaningful step in empowering young Muslims with the tools they need to understand, engage with, and internalize the Qur’an with clarity and purpose.

Designed specifically for developing minds at a pivotal stage in their academic and spiritual growth, the course introduces students to the foundational methodology of how to approach the Qur’an—its interpretation, its themes, and its relevance to contemporary life. The Theology component further strengthens their confidence in core Islamic beliefs, preparing them to thoughtfully navigate both internal doubts and the external pressures they may encounter in a college environment.

The semester-long course will be delivered online and taught by senior students of Darul Qasim College, offering these high schoolers direct access to trained, advanced learners who embody the school’s rigorous academic tradition.

A Reflection of Darul Qasim’s Commitment to Community Outreach

This offering is more than just a course, it is an illustration of Darul Qasim’s broader mission to support and uplift Muslim communities across the country.

1. Empowering the Next Generation
By investing in high school students, Darul Qasim helps lay a strong intellectual and spiritual foundation before they transition into the challenges of college life. This early engagement demonstrates the institution’s commitment to nurturing confident, grounded Muslim youth.

2. Extending Scholarship Beyond Campus Walls
Providing the course online allows Darul Qasim to reach communities outside its physical location, expanding access to quality Islamic education. This digital outreach reflects the institution’s dedication to making sacred knowledge available wherever it is needed.

3. Mentoring Through Senior Students
Having senior students teach the course fosters a culture of mentorship and service. It builds leadership skills within Darul Qasim’s own student body while offering younger students relatable role models who have walked the same academic path.

4. Strengthening Ties With Muslim Educational Institutions
The collaboration with Baitul Hikmah Academy shows Darul Qasim’s active involvement in partnering with Muslim schools nationwide. These relationships strengthen the broader landscape of Islamic education in America.

Through this initiative, Darul Qasim College continues to show that community engagement is not an occasional project, it is an ongoing commitment. By bringing structured Quranic and theological learning to the youth of Baitul Hikmah Academy, the institution once again demonstrates its dedication to cultivating a thoughtful, confident, and spiritually grounded Muslim community for generations to come.
