Our Vision

Meaning of al-Qasim

Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: “I am a Distributor (Qasim) and Allah is the One who Gives.”

The distributive function of Prophethood, while it includes physical assets such as wealth and property, emphasizes the knowledge that Allah bestows on His prophets. The prophets left behind an intellectual inheritance rich with knowledge.  It is an inheritance that, in the case of Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), has transformed, and continues to transform, the lives and hearts of men and women all over the world.
