Mawlana Muhiuddin Khan was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his hifẓ in 2007 at the Institute of Islamic Education, and he graduated from the Ālimiyyah program from IIE in 2013, where he studied Arabic grammar, morphology, rhetoric, logic, Quranic exegesis, Ḥanafī legal theory, and the hadith sciences.
In 2014, he continued his studies at Darul Uloom Deoband, where he completed a postgraduate degree in advanced Hadith methodology and criticism under esteemed scholars such as Mawlana Niʿmatullāh al-Aʿẓamī, Mufti Saʿīd Aḥmad Pālanpūrī and Mawlana Abdullāh Maʿrūfī. This advanced training granted him the license to teach these specialized subjects.
In 2017, Mawlana Muhiuddin taught at the Institute of Islamic Education, covering subjects like Aqīdat al-Ṭaḥāwiyyah, Arabic rhetoric, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, and Mishkāt. Between 2017 and 2022, he taught at DarusSalam Seminary, where his courses included Arabic grammar, Hadith sciences, and Ḥanafī jurisprudence, with a focus on critical engagement with classical Islamic texts.
He completed the Advanced Diploma in Western Tradition and Islamic Philosophy and Theology from Blogging Theology Academy (BTA) in 2024, and is pursuing further studies from the same institute. He is currently studying Ḥujjatullāh al-Bāliġah and other specialized subjects under Shaykh Amin Kholwadia at Darul Qasim College. At the College since 2022, he has been teaching introductory Islamic theology and advanced Hadith critical methodology, with an emphasis on Islamic legal theory, aiming to foster critical thinking and a deep appreciation for classical Islamic scholarship in his students.
