Participating in the civic life of our country is part of living as members of a broader society. As Muslims, we should not remain isolated from the mainstream. Rather, we should contribute positively and strive to be a source of peace, justice, and harmony wherever we live.
Voting is one of the simplest and most accessible ways people can take part in shaping their communities. By staying informed, participating in elections, and engaging respectfully in public discourse, we help ensure that our shared future reflects the values of fairness, dignity, and the common good.
I encourage everyone in our community to take part in this process and go out to vote during this election cycle. At the same time, we should remember that real change ultimately comes from Allah ﷻ. Alongside our civic participation, we must turn to Him with sincere duʿā’, asking for the well-being of our communities and for improvement, justice, and harmony in our country.
May Allah ﷻ guide us to be people who contribute positively to the societies in which we live and make us a means of goodness for all.
